Facebook is not connectable in Biilda yet. You can add this template now, but the parts that use Facebook will not work until that connector is available.

Installed employees and tasks start switched off until you turn them on.

A weekly picture of how your Facebook Page and Instagram did, and a daily set of drafted comment replies waiting for your yes: that is the whole job of this AI social media manager template. It installs a Social Media manager department with one employee and two scheduled tasks, and every reply it writes is a draft for you to approve.

It is for small teams and solo owners who post regularly but never get to checking the numbers or answering comments. Biilda is a desktop app, free on Windows and macOS, that turns what you describe in chat into AI employees (its term for an AI agent with a job), skills and scheduled tasks.

What this template does

This setup adds a Social Media Manager employee with two tasks.

Every Monday at 9:00, "Weekly social report" reads your Facebook Page and Instagram insights for the week plus the top post on each, then saves a Brain page titled "Social report" with the numbers and a one-line takeaway for each, and sends a short summary to Slack if you have a channel set up.

Every day at 10:00, "Review new comments" looks at the comments on your last five posts, drafts a short friendly reply to each new one and queues it for your approval. Nothing is posted or hidden without your sign-off.

Needs the Facebook and/or Instagram connector connected (either one works; the tasks say so plainly if one is missing). Tasks and the employee start switched off. Turn them on once you have read what they do.

How does the AI social media manager work?

On Monday at 9:00 the Weekly social report task reads your Facebook Page and Instagram insights for the week, plus the top post on each, then saves a Brain page titled Social report with the numbers and a short takeaway for each. If you have a Slack channel set up, it sends a short summary there too.

Every day at 10:00 the Review new comments task looks at the comments on your last five posts, drafts a friendly reply to each new one and queues it in Approvals. You approve, edit or reject each reply one by one.

How do you install it?

  1. Download Biilda and open it.
  2. Open Templates and find Social media manager.
  3. Add it in one click.
  4. Connect Facebook and/or Instagram from Connectors.
  5. Review what was installed, then switch on the employee and the tasks. They start off.

The download is free with no subscription. Credits begin at $20 and you pay for what each task uses (pricing).

What can you change?

Timing is the first lever: the Monday report and the 10:00 comment check can each move to another day or hour. The second is voice: tell Chat how your replies should sound and it will adjust the employee's instructions.

What does it not do?

It posts and hides nothing without your approval. It reads only the accounts you connect, and scheduled tasks run only while Biilda is running, so a quit app means no report that Monday.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI write a weekly social media report?

Yes. In this template the Social Media Manager reads your Facebook Page and Instagram insights every Monday at 9:00, adds the top post on each, and saves a Brain page called Social report with a one-line takeaway for each.

Does the AI reply to comments on its own?

No. Each day at 10:00 it looks at the comments on your last five posts, drafts a short friendly reply to each new one and queues it for your approval. Nothing is posted or hidden without your sign-off.

Which accounts does this template need?

The Facebook and Instagram connectors. Either one works, and the tasks say so plainly if one is missing. Check the connector status on this page for what can be connected today.

Do the tasks run as soon as I add the template?

No. The employee and both tasks start switched off, so you can read what they do and turn them on when you are ready.
