A content plan on Monday and a set of post drafts every morning: that is the whole rhythm of this AI marketing assistant template. It installs a Marketing & Content department in Biilda, a Content Planner and a Social Scheduler, and everything they write is a draft for you to approve and publish.

It is for small teams and solo owners who keep meaning to plan content and never get to it. Biilda is a desktop app, free on Windows and macOS, that turns what you describe in chat into AI employees (its term for an AI agent with a job), skills and scheduled tasks.

What this template does

This setup adds the Marketing & Content department: a content planner and a social scheduler working off one shared content calendar.

Every Monday at 9:00, the content planner reviews the calendar, proposes next week's topics and outlines, and updates the plan in Notion and Google Sheets.

Every day at 7:30, the social scheduler drafts that day's social posts from the plan, plus a weekly recap post to close out the week, and shares drafts to Slack for review.

Nothing is ever posted automatically — both employees produce drafts and proposals for a human to approve and publish.

How does an AI content calendar work in this template?

The two employees share one calendar. On Monday at 9:00 the Content Planner reads it, proposes next week's topics with outlines, and updates the plan in Notion and Google Sheets. The Content calendar skill keeps entries well-formed, and Headline writing gives each planned piece a clear title.

Every day at 7:30 the Social Scheduler turns that day's planned topic into post copy with the Social copy skill, applies a consistent hashtag set through Hashtag strategy, and shares the drafts to Slack for review. Friday closes with a weekly recap post. Installed employees ask before outward actions by default, so the Notion, Sheets and Slack writes wait for your OK until you loosen that. For the wider social-manager workflow, see AI for social media.

What do you need to set it up?

Notion, Google Sheets and Slack, all of which can be connected today.

  1. Download Biilda and open it.
  2. Open Templates and find Marketing & Content.
  3. Add it in one click.
  4. Connect Notion, Google Sheets and Slack from Connectors.
  5. Review what was installed, then switch on the employees and tasks. They start off.

The download is free with no subscription. Credits begin at $20 and you pay for what each task uses; both tasks here run on Balanced (pricing).

What can you change?

The voice is the first lever. Edit the Social copy skill so drafts sound like you, and the Hashtag strategy skill so the set is your own. Next is timing: the 7:30 drafts can come earlier or later, and the Weekly content plan can move from Monday to Friday if you want next week mapped before the weekend. If Slack is not where you review things, ask Chat to change where drafts are shared.

What does it not do?

It publishes nothing. There is no step that pushes a post to a social network, and the Social Scheduler's name describes a drafting rhythm, not automatic posting. What it writes is only as good as the calendar and the voice you give it. Scheduled tasks run only while Biilda is running, so a quit app means no 7:30 drafts.
