Connectors: link the services you use

A connector lets Biilda use a service you already work in, so your employees can act across your apps. You set each one up once and sign in to it yourself.
Connect a service
The easiest way is Chat.
- Open Chat and click the Connector card, or just ask for something that needs one, such as "connect my Gmail".
- Fill in Which service? and, optionally, what you want to do with it.
- Accept the plan. The connector is created in the Connectors tab.
- Open Connectors and click Connect on it, then sign in to the service.
Connectors only work once you sign in. Until then a connector shows not connected. After you connect, its badge reads connected.
Browse the directory
Below Your connectors, the Browse section lists services Biilda knows about.
- Type in Search connectors… to narrow the list.
- Click Add beside a service. It appears in your list, ready to connect.
- Some entries read Coming soon. Others show Request: click it to tell us you want that service. The button then reads Requested.
You can also click Request a connector at the top. Give the service name, for example "QuickBooks", and optionally what you would use it for.
Add your own MCP server
If you have a service that speaks MCP, click Add your own MCP, enter a Name and the server URL (it looks like https://…/mcp), and save it. Then connect it like any other.
Check, disconnect, remove
- Check re-checks a connected service.
- Disconnect signs Biilda out of it.
- The trash icon removes the connector.
- A badge reads connection issue if the last check found a problem.
Slack is different
Slack uses a guided setup in the app. See Connect Slack.
Where sign-ins live
Credentials stay on your computer, stored in your operating system's secure storage. See Privacy and local data.
What connected tools can do
Reading is treated differently from changing things. Actions that could change or post data are checked with you. See Approvals and permissions.

For many services you sign in instead. A connector's setup details, including any steps it needs, are shown when you open it in the Connectors tab.
- A service I use is not listed. What now?
Click Request a connector, or add it yourself with Add your own MCP if it has an MCP server.
- Where are my sign-ins stored?
On your computer, in secure storage. They do not go into Biilda's cloud.
